Guest Artist Program

The Adirondack Guest Artist Program has been met with great enthusiasm at Camp, as it allows The Adirondack Arts to maintain the best of both worlds! In addition to hiring the most creative, qualified and dedicated camp counselors to work with our budding children artists all summer long, we are able, through guest artists, to include accomplished, full time local artists in our summer camp program as well.

Visiting, typically, for a week at a time throughout the summer, guest artists are able to share, in depth, their real life experience with campers in their chosen areas of artistic interest. They help create a “Festival of the Arts” atmosphere by keeping Adirondack Arts fresh, fun and diversified all summer long!

Imagine learning Native American style pottery from a real Native American potter, or inspired dance movements from a cast member from The Lion King? Song writing, drum and poetry workshops or animating your own clay characters in video to tell a story you made up? These are the exciting kinds of offerings guest artists bring to the Arts at Adirondack!
