Dribble Course
Equipment:Basketball, cones
Set up an obstacle course out of cones. The players will then dribble through this while incorporating different dribble moves before finishing with a layup. Can make it into a
relay race.

King of the Court
Set up a circle out of cones on half a court. Everyone inside the circle has a ball, the drill is to knock other peoples balls out of the circle while maintaining their own dribble. The last one standing in the circle wins.

Attacking/ Defending

11th Man
Equipment: Basketball
Have the group lined up on the side court. Pick three offensive players and two defenders and play out a half court point. If an offensive player gets the rebound, they stay on and are joined by two new offensive players as well as two new defenders. If the defender got the rebound then just they stay on. Potentially one player could stay on for the duration of the drill.

Equipment: Basketball
Watch this video on the correct shooting form using (BEEF – Balance, Eyes, Elbow, Follow-through). Once that’s explained, practice trying to ‘swish’ every time.

Shooting Relay
Equipment: Basketball, cones
Split the players into two teams and set up cones in shooting spots around the court. As a team, they must make five shots on each cone before moving on. Last spot is a three point shot, with a team having to make three shots to win on that spot.

Equipment: Basketball, cones
This is a three point shooting drill. Each player chooses their shooting spot, and they must stay there. If a player makes a three point shot, and the next person then misses this person gets 100 points. If two campers make it and then one misses, this person receives 200 points . Air balls count as a 100 point penalty. Once a person gets to 500 points they are out. Last player standing wins.

Equipment: Basketball, cones
Everyone forms one line behind the cone a few feet behind the foul line, facing the basket and the first two players in line get a ball. The first player takes their first shot from the foul line. As soon as the first player attempts the first shot, the second player may attempt a shot from the foul line. If a player misses their first shot from the foul line, they may then rebound and shoot from anywhere on the court. Both players are trying to be the first to make a basket. If the second player makes it before the first player, the first player in line is knocked out. For the last two players remaining, a player must make two baskets without the other player scoring at all.
