Sir Dudley Maxim recruited me to Adirondack in the Fall of 1970, and I attended my first of three Summers beginning in 1971. I was an Intermediate camper designated a White. My recollection is that the Blues won that year, but the following two years were dominated by the Whites (so much so that I dare say the plaque carrying eagle tilted). My final year was the last year of all boy enrollment as Camp Marcy (?) was folded into Adirondack. I will be visiting the area in August and I'm wondering when camp ends this year, as I would love to introduce my family to it.
