Adirondack Camp's Director is Matthew Basinet.
Matthew Basinet.Matthew has been a teacher and administrator at The Greenwich Country Day School for twenty years. He and his wife currently reside and teach in Greenwich, Connecticut with their two small children. Matthew teaches mathematics to seventh, eighth and ninth graders and is the Dean of Students for the Upper School. He also coaches the varsity soccer and ice hockey teams. The Basinet family has been associated with Adirondack since 1951. As a result, Matthew has spent a lifetime in camping: including fourteen summers at Adirondack as the director and six years as a staff member and camper. His family provides him with the perspective of a parent and help him see life through the eyes of a child. His teaching and coaching experience at a leading educational institution speak for themselves.
