ADK Arts: Electronic Arts
Ever wonder what it would be like to be an on-camera reporter? How about learning what it takes to challenge the likes of Steven Spielberg? What about using electronics to write and preserve history? Maybe you’d like to use your computer as a creative tool, and learn to run it, rather than it running you! If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you’re a perfect candidate for the Adirondack Electronic Arts Program!
Our media summer camp program explores with beginners and advanced artists alike, where your interests and special talents lie. Then we develop a plan to help you learn the skills and gather the resources necessary to achieve success. You may choose to work independently or with a production team to develop your own form of creative expression through the use of digital cameras, video cams, computers, scanners and creative software.
It may be as simple as writing a poem, script or news report on a word processor, or as advanced as editing a complicated video or Clay Animation or making your own movie. Learning the basics of equipment operation and production technique always comes first, leading the way to fun and innovative use of these powerful creative tools of the 21st century!
