Travel Information
Once you have been hired as a camp counselor, we need to be notified in advance of your travel plans and arrival date. See Important Dates for pre-orientation training dates.
Plane
All flights must be scheduled into Burlington, VT, Boston, MA, or Albany, NY, with arrivals scheduled between noon and 6 pm. Due to the distance to camp, we are consolidating pick-ups on these dates:
ARRIVALS
Burlington, VT, Boston, MA, and Albany, NY airports only
- Friday, June 8, 12 noon to 6 pm
- Monday, June 11, 12 noon to 6 pm
- Wednesday, June 13, 12 noon to 6 pm
DEPARTURES
Burlington, VT, Boston, MA, and Albany, NY airports only
- Friday, Aug 17, 12 noon or later.
Amtrak
Amtrak makes one stop daily in the nearby town of Ticonderoga. Staff traveling by train to Ticonderoga need to arrive no later than Wednesday, June 13th.
It’s possible that we may be able to pick staff up from the Amtrak station in Albany on the dates listed above for airline flights. Please check with us before booking your train ticket.
Bus
The closest Trailways stop is Lake George Village, NY. Staff traveling by bus need to arrive no later than Wednesday, June 13th.
Car
Staff arriving by car need to be in camp no later than 7 pm in order to check in before dark.
