Peru Earthquake Relief Program for 2008

Dear Adirondack family,

Linda and I have an important message for you. For years we have talked about providing a special trip abroad for our oldest campers – one that would combine some high adventure with immersion into an old culture that would, still, be new to our kids -- but importantly, a journey like no other that would take those campers, who are selected, beyond the realm of instant gratification and into a serious, meaningful commitment to extend themselves intensively on behalf of others less fortunate in their time of need.

If your son or daughter turns 16 or 17 prior to the opening of Camp this coming summer of ’08, he or she is invited to apply for what very well may turn out to be a life changing two weeks in the heart of Peru – where your child (no longer a child) will be asked to work long days helping to care for children who lost their homes in a major, devastating earthquake this past summer or else doing hard labor helping to reconstruct a town that was 95% demolished in the calamity.

2007 Adirondack Camp Season Underway

Adirondack's 104th year is in full swing!

On Sunday, Adirondack welcomed almost 200 campers to the peninsula for the first session of the 2007 season. Old friends reunited, swim tests were taken, and the creation of new memories has begun.

You can keep up to date with what's happening this summer
We're continuing our tradition of posting Summer Updates on our website complete with a dedicated Summer Updates Photo Gallery to let you see what is happening on the peninsula every day.

Register for an account on our website
If you don't have an account yet, register on our website and make sure you select what your relationship is to camp on the form so we can validate your account. We require registration for yours and our campers' privacy.

Wait for a confirmation email
After you have registered and confirmed your account, we will review your registration and grant you the relevant access to view the updates and photo gallery. This will usually happen with a couple of hours but can take up to 24 hours.
