Kitchen
Chef Carlo takes great pride in our food service. Under his direction, the Kitchen Crew learns culinary skills plus has a great time together — laughter and music flow from the kitchen windows! Applicants must be hardworking, flexible, and willing to tackle every job, from chopping vegetables, grilling, serving meals to campers and staff, washing dishes and mopping floors. Kitchen staff are very much a part of the Camp community and have opportunities to participate in Camp life. Opportunities are available for both skilled sous chefs and willing kitchen workers.



Nurse
Our professional team of 3+ nurses works together to ensure expert health care with a smile! Qualified applicants must be at least 21 years of age, be experienced in pediatrics, and hold a current Registered Nurse and driver’s license. Camp Nurses should be comfortable in the outdoors, be flexible and fun, and enjoy working with children. Opportunities are available for applicants with managerial experience. All Nurses will be required to have New York State certification and obtain additional professional liability insurance. Positions are open for 2, 4, 6 or 8 weeks.

Photographer & Blogger
Capture the spirit and energy of Adirondack Camp through your camera! Each day, you’ll travel everywhere in Camp taking an abundance of diverse, engaging, high-quality photos of campers in action that showcases every aspect of camp life before uploading and tagging them for parents. The Photographer is also responsible for updating our blog throughout the summer.
Must be highly experienced in digital photography, Adobe Lightroom or Adobe Bridge, working on a Mac, and writing engaging copy. Photographer candidates must have their own high-quality equipment and be able to provide a portfolio of their work for review.
Camp Trumpeter/Bugler
We’re proud of being one of the few remaining camps that still relies on a real live bugler! Keep ADK on time and on its toes by playing catchy tunes between activities, as well as Reveille, Retreat, and Taps daily. Must be an energetic and creative musician; the position also includes living and working with campers in a cabin and teaching in a program area.
