Hi everyone! My name is Sai and I am 18 years old. I grew up in the Upper West Side in Manhattan but more recently moved up to Westchester. I will be graduating from The Hackley School in the spring and then onto Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. I hope to major in Psychology there with a minor in Neuroscience.

In my free time, I do a lot of movie watching and show bingeing but I do enjoy being outside as well. I am a ski instructor at Windham Mountain, but I snowboard as well. I love going on long walks and listening to crime podcasts. Most of all, I love, love being on the water. I managed boys varsity soccer at my school this past fall and we won the championship. Now, I am managing boys varsity lacrosse and so far we haven’t lost a league game. I am also training to be an EMT and will be certified in the next month!

This will be my eighth summer at ADK, I was a CIT last year and was a camper for the rest. My favorite memories are all from camp as well as some of the people who mean the most to me. I will be teaching windsurfing at the beautiful senior point. I actually learned how to windsurf at camp, it took me a couple of summers to learn to love it, and now I just can’t get enough. I love Adirondack camp for many reasons but my favorite is the feeling of community that blossoms everywhere you turn. People encourage you to try new things and you find yourself doing the same for other people. I hope to help campers take advantage of everything camp has to offer because it truly is a place like no other. Counting down the days!!
