Our Cancellation Policy
Because Adirondack Camp begins hiring staff, planning trips, and preparing the program during the winter and spring, our cancellation policy transitions from refunds to credits after January 15.
| Cancellation Date | What Families Receive |
|---|---|
| Before January 15 | Full refund minus a $650 enrollment service fee |
| January 16 – March 31 | 75% tuition credit toward a future ADK summer |
| April 1 – June 1 | 50% tuition credit toward a future ADK summer |
| After June 1 or once camp begins | No refund or credit |
Credits may be applied to a future Adirondack Camp summer within one year and may be transferred to a sibling.
Families who prefer cash protection beyond January 15 may purchase tuition insurance during enrollment.
Tuition Insurance
We understand that enrolling your child in camp is an important commitment, and sometimes plans change. Adirondack Camp offers a clear cancellation and credit policy, and families who want additional flexibility may choose to purchase tuition insurance at the time of enrollment.
Tuition insurance helps protect your investment by allowing families to receive a cash reimbursement in certain covered situations after the January 15 refund deadline.
Adirondack Camp partners with Program Protector, a travel insurance plan available through your camper application.
If you purchase a plan and need to cancel your enrollment, you would submit a claim directly to Program Protector’s claims administrator according to the terms of the policy.
