Every summer we have a visiting day for parents, grandparents and siblings.
Visiting Day is designed to reflect (as much as possible) a typical day at Camp. Campers will be asked to attend their assigned morning activities, where visitors can watch or partake. Naturally, your kids will be happy and excited about your arrival and want to show you everything at once. So, please remind them to check in with their staff and have them show you what new skills they have learned.
For Visiting Day we ask that parents please arrive after 9:00 am. A typical schedule will look like this:
The Adirondack Park is a remarkable piece of the planet and we hope that, after saying goodbye on Visiting Day, you might have some time to enjoy its many extraordinary treasures. For nature lovers and history buffs, adventure seekers or those who simply appreciate unique, charming environments — there’s something for everyone. Want to go river rafting? Visit sites of important American battles? Bird watch? Stay at a five star hotel? Or experience a world famous ice cream factory? You can do it all.
