ADK Arts: Creative Arts

Our traditional creative arts camp program offers a ton of different creative opportunities to every camper to give expression to his or her inner creative genius. You might sketch a landscape from your favorite vantage above Lake George or paint a stunning portrait of your favorite camp counselor. Or else you might decorate your camp canoe paddle with your personal design. Or any of the timeless crafts—such as leatherwork, beading, weaving, printmaking or papier maché—might beckon you. It might even be that you have a very specific thing in mind that you want to make, like a piñata or flute or friendship bracelet or grass skirt or headdress or necklace—anything! Whatever it is, Adirondack’s art camp for kids and resident artists will help you in bringing out your design, improving your skills and, most importantly, digging deep to connect with that resident camp artist within you.
