Tim

Facilities Management Director

Managing a 107-year-old camp facility requires a wide-ranging skill set, and that’s exactly what Facilities Director Tim brings to Adirondack. Tim started working at Adirondack in 1981, and since then, he’s repaired, refurbished and/or rebuilt every part of camp. Tim is a key part of risk management at Adirondack, and helps ensure that Adirondack meets or exceeds stringent standards set by the New York State Department of Health. His knowledge and work ethic are so highly regarded that he’s been awarded the Adirondack Gold Eagle, our top honor. Recently the camper Service Award was renamed the Condit Service Award in honor of Tim and his brother Steve.

Growing up, Tim spent every summer at Rockledge, his family’s camp across Blairs Bay from Adirondack. His knowledge of Lake George is invaluable when it comes to maintaining boats, docks, and vintage buildings. “I really enjoy seeing campers have fun on the lake and in the Adirondacks. They’re learning to canoe, sail, and water ski, just like I did when I was a kid!”
