Today, we celebrate the first inhabitants of our beautiful peninsula and country. We as a camp are continually learning more about the Indigenous Peoples who lived on Adirondack land, and are actively working toward honoring those who came before us. As you can see from the map, Camp is situated on Mohican, Mohawk, Wabanaki Conferacy, and Abekani land—take some time today to learn more about the original residents of Camp!
