Part of Adirondack Camp’s “Lake George Five” (LG5) on our wilderness trips program, Cook Mountain is a moderately difficult Adirondack hike that takes an average of 1 hour and 51 minutes to complete. The 1.5 mile trail passes through wetlands, farmland, and forest before reaching the summit.

The open ridge of Cook Mountain offers breathtaking views of northern Lake George, the Champlain Valley, and Vermont’s Green Mountains.

If you time your hike right, keep an eye out for wild blueberries growing near the summit!
