Wishing all of our US families a very happy 4th of July!

The Fourth of July has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1941, but the history of Independence Day celebrations dates back to the 18th century and the American Revolution. The Continental Congress voted in favor of independence on July 2, 1776, and two days later, delegates from the thirteen colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence, a historic document penned by Thomas Jefferson.

July 4th has been honored as the birth of American independence since 1776, with festivities ranging from fireworks, parades, concerts, family gatherings and barbecues.

Here at Adirondack Camp we will be celebrating with themed activities and watching the fireworks around the lake. Enjoy the holiday weekend!
