Culinary Fun

My name is Joleane, and I am 24 years old from Houston, Texas. I attend Lone Star Community College, where I am majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

A fun fact about me is that my name is made from the first two letters of several family members’ names: Jo from Jose (my dad and brother), Le from Leticia (my mom), and An from Antonia (my sister and grandmother), with an “E” added at the end. In my free time, I enjoy spending time in the kitchen, gaminig, and journaling.

This is my first summer at Adirondack, and I will be teaching Culinary Fun. I am most looking forward to making memories with the campers, and I hope to encourage them to try new foods and step outside their comfort zones this summer.
