Rikki
she/her
Ticonderoga, NY, USA
Vice President of Camp Operations
& Director of Camper Recruitment
This will be Rikki’s 23rd summer on the peninsula; and during this time she has contributed in too many ways to count. She is the one responsible for recruiting all of our amazing campers. However, behind the scenes, Rikki also ensures that everything in Camp functions on a daily basis. She manages Camp’s finances while ensuring program needs are met and coordinates with other Administration to make camp what it is. Her hard work and savvy business sense were instrumental in helping ensure Adirondack Camp emerged from the summer of 2020 in which we were unable to open.
Rikki has a short commute, residing in Ticonderoga with children, 18-year old Lucas who works as a staff and 12-year old Gabby (a proud intermediate camper), and husband Don, who also works at camp as the facilities manager.
Since 2018, Rikki has served on the Executive Board of Directors for the Ticonderoga Chamber of Commerce, where she helps further strengthen our community ties. In 2019, in acknowledgment of her outstanding contributions, Rikki was inducted into the Camp Administrator Hall of Fame and in 2024 she was awarded the Chamber of Commerece award for community service.
Rikki brings a wealth of experience from her long-tenure at Adirondack Camp in serving to support multiple areas of the business. She continues to enhance her skills through various self-enrichment opportunities, including but not limited to Dale Carnegie and accounting courses, camp conferences and a certified Camp Safety Director class. In addition, she brings a huge heart, dedication and strong desire to positively impact our campers’ experience. She loves building relationships with our families over the years and especially enjoys interacting with our campers and staff.
