Nurse

I am a Professional Nurse Educator, Acute Care (Hospital) Nurse, Father, and Husband in the off-season. I graduated with my master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Nursing Education in May 2022 and now work at the University of Central Oklahoma Department of Nursing. I have been a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse for over 8 years, an Adult Stroke Neurology Nurse at a Comprehensive Stroke Center for almost 3 years, and a Professional Educator for over 12 years, between patient and nursing education.

As one of the camp nurses this summer, I bring a vast knowledge of caring for children and young adults of all ages to the fantastic healthcare team at Adirondack Camp. I am an identical twin, grew up in a military family, and most of my family are teachers, lawyers, or in healthcare.

Although this will be my first summer, with my son and wife, at Adirondack Camp. We hope to be returning until he can be a Counselor In Training (CIT). I enjoy hiking, kayaking, camping, rock climbing, team sports, swimming, snorkeling, and hammocking all year long.

I have been an acute/pediatric/camp nurse since the beginning of my nursing career. I look forward to experiencing all the amazing amenities that Adirondack Camp can offer and experiencing them with my child for his first-ever camp experience, seeing his circle of friends grow in this supportive community. I hope to help campers thrive this summer and maintain their health while participating with them in as many activities as possible in my free time.I want to be someone your children can enjoy seeing around camp and sharing with me their experiences.
