I am 22 years old; I will be celebrating my 23rd birthday at ADK this summer. I just graduated from university with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. I was born and raised on the cool tropical island of Jamaica, and this will be my 3rd summer as part of the kitchen crew. At ADK, I love how you instantly feel like you’re a part of this huge family. Everyone looks out for each other, and the peninsula is just filled with treasures and never-ending possibilities. In my spare time, I try to do something that I’ve never done before, and every year I take on a new challenge at camp, this year it will be waterskiing. I also spend a lot of time hanging with friends, and when I’m home alone, I spend my time in the kitchen trying out new cuisines. Working alongside people from all over the world makes it so much more interesting, especially when it comes to trying their cuisine and learning their native language. I love making people happy with food, and Adirondack camp has definitely set the stage for me to be at my best.
