Senior Boy’s Line Head

My name is Vaughn, I am from NYC, and at the start of camp, I will be 21 years old. I currently attend St. John’s University where I study economics. Some of my hobbies are baseball, basketball, lifting, and chess. I also really enjoy listening to all different kinds of music.

This will be my third summer at ADK where I have previously been land staff, but my first as Senior Line Head. Hopefully, I will still be able to coach some basketball as well but I am very excited and looking forward to this new opportunity. My favorite thing about camp is the relationships one builds. During my first year as a counselor, someone from camp told me; “Take time to develop relationships.” Focusing on developing the individual relationship was perhaps the best advice I have ever been given; it is advice I take and hold with me from camp.

This summer, I hope that I can help campers feel comfortable in their new camp environment, learn some new things, and be the best version of themselves that they can be. Can’t wait to see you all!
