Waterskiing

Hello everyone! My name is Emma, I’m 26 years old, and I’m originally from Westchester, New York. In 2019 I graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelors in Zoology, and in 2021 I graduated from Tufts University with a Masters in Conservation Medicine (essentially a blend of wildlife conservation and environmental health). Some fun facts about myself: (1) I was born in Italy, (2) I know how to make/bottle kombucha, and (3) sharks are my favorite animal. My hobbies include rock climbing, hiking, traveling, doing anything in the water, reading, writing, and discovering new music.

I’m a blast from the past at Adirondack Camp: I spent a total of four summers as a camper here, but way back in 2007-2010. I’m returning ADK waterfront staff from last year, and this summer I will be teaching waterskiing. What I love so much about camp is how there are so many activities to do here, there’s really something for everyone. Not only that, but you’re bound to discover new interests and meet new people during your time here. As a counselor for Summer of 2023, I want to help campers learn to love both the water and the outdoors, to the point where they have carried that love with them beyond camp.
