Nothing is better for growing kids than time at summer camp — unplugged, device-free, and developing a sense of self and independence. Adirondack Camp, one of the oldest and highest-rated camps in the country, is offering a One-Week Adventure Camp for kids ages 7 to 10 from Saturday, August 9th to Saturday, August 16th.
My son went for the first time at age 8. After camp, he was more confident, mature, brave, respectful, patient. He has a longer attention span having been away from electronics. He appreciates nature more.

…for an unforgettable week at our sleepaway Adventure Camp, specially designed for first-time campers! Immerse yourself in the beauty of Lake George and the Adirondacks while exploring various exciting activities across our Land, Waterfront, Arts, and Wilderness Trips programs. Play tennis, try archery, rock climb, sail, kayak, waterski, cook, do ceramics, or discover something new. We also have a Wilderness Trips component where campers can go on various trips to the Adirondacks.
It was a big thing for him to get away from his parents. He made it, and he feels really good about himself!
