The Lake George Five: Record Mountain
Part of Adirondack Camp’s “Lake George Five” (LG5) on our Wilderness Trips program, Record Mountain is a popular Adirondack destination for hiking, walking, and outdoor exploration. This 0.9-mile trail climbs to a 1,265-foot summit and takes an average of 1 hour and 4 minutes to complete.
From the summit, hikers looking south over Lake George are rewarded with spectacular views of Adirondack Camp and the surrounding shoreline.
The cliffs of Record Mountain are also a regular breeding location for peregrine falcons, adding another unique element to this scenic Lake George hike.
