The Ultimate Summer of Sports: Adirondack Camp’s Land Sports Pillar Shines in 2025
This summer, our Land Sports pillar brought endless action and excitement to the Adirondack peninsula. From classic favorites to unexpected new challenges, campers had the chance to sharpen skills, discover new games, and celebrate the thrill of friendly competition. Each week offered the opportunity to try something fresh—soccer, basketball, beach volleyball, tennis, rock climbing, archery, and fencing were always in full swing, while All-Sports kept campers on their toes with a different game every day, from cricket to lacrosse.

Competition was big this season. Within camp, we held our traditional tournaments: World Cup for soccer, the Patryk Tennis Tournament, and our fast-paced Three v Three Basketball Tournament, giving campers and counselors alike a chance to showcase their skills. The excitement reached a peak with our inter-camp showdown against Forest Lake Camp, featuring Soccer, Ultimate, Basketball, Tennis, Speed Climbing, Archery, and Fencing. It was another close year—but Adirondack held strong, keeping the title for 2025!

With warm weather all summer long, land sports often ended the day in the best way possible: a refreshing dip in the lake to cool off after a hard-fought match or a full day on the courts. From big wins to small victories, this summer’s Land Sports program was about more than games—it was about growth, friendship, and memories that will last long after the final whistle.
