Another incredible week has flown by here at Adirondack Camp! Energy and excitement filled every inch of camp—from the waterfront to every activity across the peninsula. Our much-anticipated camper-staff World Cup soccer tournament kicked off, bringing spirited competition and team pride. Over in the arts, visiting glassblowing artists guided campers in creating stunning handmade pieces, while magician David Black amazed and inspired as he taught campers the secrets behind some impressive illusions. As the week wrapped up, we said farewell to our amazing two-weekers and gave a warm Adirondack welcome to our new arrivals for Session 1B. The adventure continues!

Blue/White

Last Sunday we had Blue/White Scavenger Hunt, campers had to find various items from a long and quirky list, and we wrapped it up with each team presenting their “perfect camper” who has to stand in perfect uniform next to a neatly made bed and trunk- in the middle of the ballfield! On Wednesday evening, the energy was high for an exciting Blue/White Triple Event, featuring Junior Hockey, Intermediate Water Polo, and Senior Ultimate Frisbee. White came out on top in both hockey and water polo, while Blue secured the win in ultimate. This Sunday just gone we had Bull in the Ring, a fun take on dodgeball, Blue Team took the victory, nudging the overall score to 5–4 in favor of Blue after two thrilling weeks of competition!

Tuesday night we had a camp-wide campfire down by the Moss Line. It was the first time we had done something like this in the longest time! We had a performance from the week’s drama class, as well as a whole bunch of hilarious staff skits!

Line Nights this week

Week two saw some great line nights, on Monday the Seniors all played a game of Jingo in the fencing pavillion! Like Bingo but with music instead of numbers. The Juniors and Intermediates had theirs on Thursday where our guest artist David Black hosted a magic show!!

Guest Artists This Week

This week we have former Senior Moss Line Head April teaching Scrap & Yap- a fun take on scrapbooking. We also have Annika teaching Yeehaw Line Dancing. Alumni Doug is teaching rowing and croquet.

On the Menu this week

Campers can look forward such meals as breakfast burritos, cinnamon rolls, mac and cheese, chilli and creamy tomato pasta!
