Happy Earth Day!

Did you know that Earth Day began as a grassroots movement in the United States? Gaylord Nelson, a Wisconsin senator, introduced the idea. Earth Day is now observed worldwide as a yearly reminder to respect the Earth and express gratitude to our planet. There are numerous ways to express thanks to our Earth, and the simplicity is often overlooked. This Earth Day, use it to remind your children how simple it is to make a difference for the environment!

Tom McDonough

Tom joined Adirondack Camp in 2012, he spent his first summers in-between University in Leicester, England. He worked as kitchen staff, canoe staff, waterfront floater, and finally Senior Boys Line head. After three years at FLC as their Assistant Director, Tom has re-joined Adirondack Camp and is looking forward to the summers on our beautiful peninsula.
