Property Manager

We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Don from Assistant Property Manager to Property Manager of Adirondack Camp. After working with Tim and Steve and learning on the job for the last year plus Don is more than ready for this challenge.

Property Manager is one of the MOST important jobs in Camp. Don oversees the management and safety of all aspects of our property and facility, including any and all infrastructure above and below ground as well as our equipment. In this role Don also oversees our stellar Maintenance Team. Don brings with him a wealth of experience, and knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, carpentry and the general understanding of the inner working of things. He also brings a dry wit, a can-do attitude and strong work ethic. We are so excited to see him take on this pivotal role at Camp!

Office Manager

We are so happy that Edali is joining us for her 4th summer in her new role as Office Manager. Edali, originally from Mexico, has relocated here from Texas and lives on-site with her kitty Maggie. As Office Manager, Edali plays a vital role behind the scenes and getting everything in order for the summer. She will also be the point person in the office during the summer season. Edali will oversee our mail system (a giant job), and travel logistics for staff and campers, ensure all forms are received, and deal with any day-to-day administrative needs for campers and staff. We welcome Edali to the leadership team and are excited to see her take on this new role.

Head Nurse

This is Taylor’s 6th summer with us and we are fortunate to have her return this season as our Head Nurse. Taylor has a Bachelors in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and recently received her Masters of Science in Nursing Education this May. She brings a wealth of hands-on nursing experience to our Health Care Team. In partnership with Dr. Alison Tothy, Taylor, as Head Nurse, will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Health Center and the overall care and well-being of our ADK community. Taylor brings wisdom, kindness, and good common sense (and a great sense of humor) to our campers and staff.

Wilderness Trips Coordinator and Staff Liaison

Sean, who hails from Western Australia, will be joining us for his 10th summer on the peninsula in a new role! Actually, true to camp culture Sean will be wearing a couple of hats. As Head of Wilderness and Trips, Sean will oversee our Trips Pillar and be responsible (along with assistant-head Elias and our awesome Trips Staff) for the planning and execution of excursions up mountains and on rivers in the gorgeous Adirondacks. In addition, Sean will be heading up a new and important role as Staff Liaison with the aim of providing additional mentoring and support for our staff.

Media Coordinator

We are excited to share that Jessy has been promoted from Videographer to Media Coordinator, in charge of managing the ADK Media Team of photographers and our videographer. This will be Jessy’s 5th summer joining us from New Zealand where she likes to drink her favorite tea Earl Grey and hang with her Cat Tasha. Jessy has a wonderful eye and has been able to capture the magic of camp through its sunsets and the zany fun of our campers and staff in her videos. Jessy also just put ADK on the TikTok map. We are excited to see her take on more of a leadership role and expand Adirondack Camp’s overall media presence.

This summer Kyle will be moving into a leadership position as Assistant Program Director to help our awesome Program Director Rachel build and manage all of the schedules for our campers. Kyle will also assist with developing and implementing all of the FUN programming that happens on the peninsula in the summer.
