My Favorite Moment

Ivy Indictor in play

I have two favorite moments, one is taking my final bow at the end of High School Musical, and the other is when I was up on water skis, and I crossed wakes for the first time. But there are many other moments that made my summer, I couldn’t name them all.

Grace Spelman 4

Singing together with a group of people you care about is a feeling that will never be beat. I’m Grace Spelman, and I’m leading Performing Arts this summer. When I look back at my middle school and high school days, the first thing that comes to mind is “choir”. Being in the choir was cool and totally acceptable, and our Grammy Award winning music program was filled with everyone football jocks to “mathletes”. And out of all the friendships I’ve made throughout my years, the ones I’ve made through music are the ones that have stayed the longest and are the strongest.

This summer I’m super interested in starting an acappella group that will cover hits from Glee, Katy Perry, The Beatles, The Spice Girls, and more! It doesn’t matter if you’ve never sung before, when you get together and sing with friends (especially camp friends) you’ll have memories that will last a lifetime. The bond singers and musicians have while performing is something that is hard to describe with words. So if you’re interested, join our acappella group this summer!

Walking on Water?

SUP

It sure looks like it! Stand Up Paddleboarding is an activity we introduced that became an instant camper favorite. Skimming across the top of the water is so cool, plus paddlers can see down through the crystal waters of Lake George.

Counselors Sarah Regner and Katelyn Wellnitz are excited about leading SUP this summer. See you on the water!
