One of the very first people to greet new families at Adirondack Camp is Rikki Galusha, and she knows how to make campers and their families feel welcome. Rikki has been at Adirondack for 17 years, and she effortlessly juggles managing our Camp business from many behind the scenes operations. Whether it’s coordinating transportation for campers from around the world or managing our database, handling Camp finances, or recruiting campers, Rikki keeps Adirondack running smoothly.
After graduating from Plattsburgh University with a degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice, Rikki began her career at Adirondack. Seventeen years later, she continues to sharpen her skills by taking courses from Dale Carnegie, continuing education courses, as well as many conferences she attends throughout the year. Rikki is married to her high school sweetheart Don, and they live in their hometown of Ticonderoga with their ten-year-old son Lucas and five-year-old daughter Gabrielle. Her close community ties have immeasurably helped Camp over the years, from promoting local children to the ADK Scholarship Fund to introducing the Lake George Floating Classroom to our summer program. Rikki serves on the Board of Directors for the Ticonderoga Chamber of Commerce, and in 2019, Rikki was inducted into the Camp Administrator Hall of Fame. She looks forward to many years at Adirondack Camp and watching her children enjoy all that it has to offer.Back
